Robert A. Frist, Jr. has served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors since 1990, the year he co-founded the Company. Under his leadership, Mr. Frist grew HealthStream from a dot-com startup to what is now the nation’s largest ecosystem of SaaS-based workforce and provider solutions in the healthcare industry. The network of healthcare organizations using HealthStream’s solutions is nationwide, spanning the full spectrum of healthcare organizations across the continuum of care. Under his leadership, the Company’s product innovations are transforming the way healthcare organizations train, assess, credential, onboard, schedule, and develop their human capital, enterprise-wide.
Mr. Frist was named “Entrepreneur of the Year” for the southeastern region by Ernst & Young, while being named one of the “Most Admired CEOs” among public companies many times over. He is a co-founder of Nashville's Entrepreneur Center where he currently serves as Chairman of the Board—and has also served as a former Chairman of the Nashville Health Care Council. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Trinity University.
Scott A. Roberts joined HealthStream in 2002 and has served in several roles within the Finance and Accounting Department until January 2015, when he was promoted to Vice President, Accounting and Finance. In February 2019, he was appointed as Interim Chief Financial Officer and in September 2019, he was named Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President, Accounting and Finance. In his role at HealthStream, Mr. Roberts leads all of the Company’s financial functions, including accounting, audit, financial reporting, treasury management, and corporate finance. Mr. Roberts earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University.
Michael M. Collier joined HealthStream in 2011 and currently serves as Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy, Development, and Operations. He is responsible for establishing and overseeing HealthStream’s enterprise growth strategy and operations. Mr. Collier has direct oversight over multiple departments, including Legal, Human Resources, Business Enablement, Enterprise Partnerships, Success Management, Implementations, and Customer Onboarding. As head of corporate development and the Company’s M&A program, he has led over two dozen successful acquisitions for HealthStream.
As a thought leader in the healthcare industry, Mr. Collier has participated in the Leadership Nashville Program and was named a Fellow in the Nashville Health Care Fellows Program. Prior to coming to HealthStream, he served as a corporate & securities attorney at Bass, Berry & Sims. Mr. Collier holds a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and M.A. and B.A. degrees from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
Trisha L. Coady joined HealthStream in 2013 and, following her role as Senior Vice President, was named Executive Vice President, Workforce Development Solutions in February 2025. Ms. Coady is responsible for the suite of solutions that includes competency development, clinical education, resuscitation, quality and safety, and revenue cycle, working with many of HealthStream’s leading partners. As a nurse, former healthcare entrepreneur, and nationally recognized thought leader on learning and development for healthcare professionals, her expertise helps guide HealthStream’s various product innovations and go-to-market strategy in the area of workforce development. Prior to coming to HealthStream, Ms. Coady was the healthcare Practice Manager at Bluedrop Performance Learning; founder and President of Medsenses; and a registered nurse at several healthcare organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Moncton.
Jeffrey Cunningham joined HealthStream as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in July 2017. Mr. Cunningham is responsible for leading all aspects of platform and product development for HealthStream. In Mr. Cunningham’s 20+ years of experience in healthcare technology, he has led the design, development, and delivery of several large-scale solutions with an emphasis on advanced service-based architectures, big-data analytics, and ecosystem-wide interoperability. Prior to joining HealthStream, Mr. Cunningham was a founder, CTO and Chief Strategy Officer for Informatics Corporation of America (ICA), CTO for Medibuy/GHX, and a Partner in Computer Sciences Corporation’s (CSC) eBusiness consulting practice. Mr. Cunningham has also served on several boards and industry initiatives focused on the advancement of healthcare technology. Mr. Cunningham earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of North Texas.
Scott McQuigg joined HealthStream in 2019 and currently serves as Senior Vice President, Digital & Network Development. Mr. McQuigg is focused on advancing the Company’s business-to-professional channel, expanding upon and growing HealthStream’s direct relationships with users across the Company’s ecosystem of millions of engaged healthcare professionals. He provides executive-level leadership of NurseGrid, the industry’s most adopted app by nurses, and myClinicalExchange, a leading application helping hospitals and universities connect with and manage rotations for students pursuing careers in healthcare. Mr. McQuigg also provides executive responsibility for HealthStream’s marketing department. Prior to joining HealthStream, Mr. McQuigg was cofounder & Chief Executive Officer of GoNoodle and, prior to that, was the cofounder & Chief Executive Officer of HealthLeaders, a leading media, publishing, and research business focused on the business of healthcare.
Kevin O’Hara most recently joined HealthStream in 2021 and, following several promotions, is currently serving as Executive Vice President, Workforce Platform & Applications. In this role, Mr. O’Hara is responsible for the Company’s innovative, PaaS-enabled hStream platform and the core application suites in Learning, Credentialing, and Scheduling. Prior to his current role at HealthStream, Mr. O’Hara began his career as an attorney at Bass, Berry, & Sims and later worked in senior leadership roles at HealthStream from 2001 to 2011. Mr. O’Hara was then Chief Executive Officer at Syus, a healthcare IT company, for a decade before re-joining HealthStream in 2021. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy from Vanderbilt University and holds a J.D. from the Vanderbilt University School of Law.
Jennifer LoPresto joined HealthStream in 2013 and has served in multiple leadership roles within the Company’s sales force, leading to her being named Senior Vice President, Sales in January 2026. Ms. LoPresto is responsible for providing executive oversight of HealthStream’s sales force and its operations across all business areas, including its leadership across each of the various sales teams. Her executive-level responsibility in this role includes the development of strategic sales plans and their successful implementation to achieve sales targets. Prior to HealthStream, Ms. LoPresto served as a sales manager at two global publishers: Wolters Kluwer and Pearson Education. Ms. LoPresto holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Florida Atlantic University.
