HealthStream Announces New Agreement With Radionics to Produce Series of CME Events On Pain Management
As a leading provider of surgical devices, Radionics selected HealthStream to produce and deliver the innovative series of CME events where physicians are afforded an opportunity to learn collaboratively, situated with lab stations that are limited to 4-6 participants. Lectures and roundtable discussions are combined with a hands-on approach to enhance the delivery of pioneering medical research on pain management. A premium is placed on the practical application of this research to a greater extent than more traditional CME formats, thus enhancing the likelihood of directly improving patient care.
"Our goal is to provide physicians with the best possible training on the techniques for treatment of chronic pain," said Steve Hanlon, Vice President and General Manager, Radionics. "HealthStream's learning solutions will help Radionics to support world-class medical education for physicians by providing superior quality in course development, accreditation convenience, and lesson delivery."
"As a world leader in the fields of neurosurgery, neurological pain treatment, and radiation therapy, Radionics continues to demonstrate industry leadership by supporting cutting-edge continuing medical education activities to physicians," said Fred Perner, senior vice president, HealthStream. "We value our established relationship with Radionics and look forward to producing the upcoming series on pain management throughout 2002."
