HealthStream to Hold Second Annual e-Learning Summit 2002, the Only Conference in e-Learning Industry Exclusively for Healthcare Professionals
Approximately 250 healthcare professionals from over 170 healthcare organizations across the nation are expected to attend HealthStream's e-Learning Summit 2002. Participants will have a wide range of presentations to choose to attend--including topics that range from "What is e-Learning? A Beginner's Course" to "Bioterrorism--Are You Ready?" to "e-Learning in the Small Hospital Setting." Breakout sessions are offered after presentations and a series of e-learning demonstrations and exhibits will run throughout the Summit.
The keynote address will be presented by Brandon Hall, Ph.D. on Thursday, April 25, 2002, from 9:15 to 11:00 am. Dr. Hall is a leading independent expert in e-learning, having pioneered the field with his groundbreaking book, Web-Based Training Cookbook. As an internationally recognized researcher and speaker on e-learning, he has been interviewed by Forbes, Fortune, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, among others. Dr. Hall's keynote address will kickoff a series of presentations, workshops, and demonstrations for the remainder of the Summit.
"The enthusiastic response to the Summit that HealthStream has received from healthcare professionals working throughout the industry is only matched by the rising popularity of e-learning itself in their hospitals," explained Michael Pote, senior vice president, HealthStream. "HealthStream's e-Learning Summit 2002 provides a forum to personally respond to many of our customers' requests for more information about e-learning in their healthcare organizations. I look forward to meeting all of the Summit participants."
